BE. THEIR. VOICE.

Who We Are

We are The Friends of Fairfield - the helping hand to the shelter, which was started in 2018 to bring awareness, help with resources, and facilitate networking for the animals of FCAC (Fairfield County Animal Control). We are a group of dedicated volunteers with the same goals and mission, now operating under a new identity, to enhance our efforts within the Fairfield County community.

BOR’s two-colored logo approach is to differentiate between the SHELTER EFFORTS and the COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM.

Our Orange Logo

The Orange BOR continues to be a helping hand to the shelter with resources, supply needs, fundraising, facilitating rescue transfers, and partnerships among many other needs.

Our Blue Logo

The Blue BOR is the community outreach side with a huge focus on spay/neuter. Our goal with the blue team is to provide a voucher program to help reduce the overpopulation of unwanted pets which in turn would help with the influx of animals that burdens the shelter. This effort will also include a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program in the near future.

Because of Roscoe will be providing Spay/Neuter assistance for both cats and dogs to the Residents of Fairfield County.
