SNIP Voucher
Our primary Spay/Neuter assistance is provided through the monthly SNIP Van program. Vouchers are only available on a case-by-case basis when the van program is not an option. Please contact us directly for eligibility. Vouchers are available for pick up at the Fairfield County Animal Shelter once eligibility has been confirmed.

This service offers free spay/neuter and free transportation to and from the SPAY/NEUTER clinic on the scheduled surgery day. Animals will overnight and return the following day (this is optional- and if you prefer dropping off and picking up your pet the same day yourself, please let us know so arrangements can be made)
The SNIP Van service is available once a month. This service is fully sponsored (up to 100 lbs) with no additional cost to the individual unless you request additional services such as: vaccine, microchip, pain meds post surgery, etc. (Dogs over 100 lbs are subject to a small additional fee)
A $20 refundable deposit ($10 for TNR) is required at time of reservation and is refunded after the surgery as long as you show up for your scheduled appointment.
Please include your proof of residency and Rabies Certificate (a section at the end of the form is available for you to upload all documentation). If your pet has not been vaccinated, a rabies vaccine is mandatory and can be administered at time of surgery. The cost for the Rabies is $6.00. (additional services are offered through Pawmetto Lifeline for an additional fee (see price list for additional services).
**Please Note: Because of Roscoe offers microchips for $5 ( that fee is the fee charged by the clinic to implant the chip)
Once all of the above has been submitted, our SNIP coordinator will contact you.
** If your dog is not good with strangers and requires a muzzle for handling or transportation, we will require you to drop him/her off directly at the clinic. Additional information can be discussed for best practice and safety. PLEASE advise us when signing up**
** For TNR reservations, please include the following on the admission form: (TNR package includes: rabies, fvrcp and eartip)
- In the box -> PET NAME: write TNR + Your Last Name , if you have multiples, include a number at the end ( ex: TNR Smith #1, TNR Smith #2)
-Select the following services: Rabies 1 year, FVRCP, Ear Tip
- Please Note- ALL TNR must be ear tipped. No exceptions.

**Deposit Refund: please allow 5-10 business days for refund to appear on your card or statement
**Please note: ACH transactions cannot be refunded through the Zeffy platform- those making their deposits by ACH, a refund check will be mailed to you.
